Video: “Atomic States of America”

This film expose risks from the nuclear industry and it’s complacence to the health effects it dumps upon communities. It explores: Shirley, Long Island, where leaky Brookhaven National Labs reactors poisoned the water supply and a huge spike in a very rare cancer occured; Three Mile Island, home of the first U.S. commercial nuclear reactor meltdown; and a commercial power reactor in Braidwood, Illinois, owned by Excelon, which leads the nation in tritium leaked into the water supply.
